BHGC Schools Golf Festival-Oct 12 - 1

Future Ryder Cup hopefuls from Barnfields, Berkswich, Leasowes and Oakridge Primary Schools came together for a Golf Festival at Brocton Hall Golf Club on Tuesday, (23rd October), run by Head Teaching Professional and County Academy Coach Jon Watts.

Pupils had all had three hours of coaching beforehand and the Golf Festival was a culmination and celebration of this.

Pupils were divided into teams named after famous golfers; so teams Ballesteros, Team Tiger and Luke Donald all competed in driving, chipping and putting competitions.  In a very close finish Team Tiger emerged as overall winners.
